Prep A

Prep A has been learning about patterns over the past week. The children have been making patterns using shapes and colours. They then had a go at recording their pattern in their books. Have a look at some of their patterns below. The Preps have been learning to identify and continue a pattern. Learning to identify patterns is an important part of mathematics. Later in the year the children will be encouraged to begin to notice patterns in number lines.
